I love this supercut of mentions of The Game from The Wire. Especially the juxtapositions, Orlando "in the game," Wallace "out the game," and the ending, with Rawls menacingly talking about how The Game is played and Omar laughing about it behind the barrel of a gun.
Is it digital storytelling? It's certainly digital storyreading, generating a new story through automated digital means. I think it does create a new story, although understanding it might depend on knowledge of the original source.
